| Yes | b) Do you support legalizing abortion when the pregnancy resulted from incest or rape? | ||
| Yes | c) Do you support the prohibition of public funds (e.g. Medicaid) for organizations that perform abortions? | ||
| I believe out side of incest or rape, abortion should not be allowed after the baby is able to live out side of the mother, right now the earliest birth that survived was at 21 weeks and if we that that as an outlier then after 22 weeks elective abortions should not be allowed as that could be argueed as murder | |||
| Yes | a) In order to balance the budget, do you support limiting state government spending on social programs (e.g. SNAP, TANF)? | ||
| Yes | b) Do you support a decrease in income taxes in order to promote economic growth? | ||
| No | c) Do you support a wealth tax in order to pay for public programs in your state? | ||
| government social programs have a history of trapping people to be reliant on them and not really helping them get out of poverty. I firmly believe that people are better stuwards of their money than any government can be, and a general "wealth tax" would kill off every small business if passed | |||

| a) all government money comes from taxes, which come from other businesses, and I do not support letting government take from one to give to another that they want to promote b)all except for direct saftey, most regulations have been put in my lobbiest to prevent competition, and competition is what is needed in a healthy capitalist market place c) I believe a minimum wage harms people more than it helps, it keeps people from negotiating wage which keeps wages at around the minnimum wage instead of what the individual brings to the job d)no, after watching the affordable housing projects in Chapel Hill for the last 8 years and how it hasn't helped with housing and instead is costing $300,000 per unit for studio apartment level living, I don't think government spending on housing solves anything | |||

| I am pushing to set up more nuclear plants, starting with converting the coal plant in Chapel Hill, this would also expand the TUNL program allowing for more trained nuclear personel that could be sent to new nuclear plants across the state, giving 2 cent a kilowatt hour energy I also want to push people trains by adding commuter trains to the huge network or existing railways in the state I want to get rid of the income tax in North Carolina to help offset the huge increase in taxes coming to Chapel Hill, Carrboro and most of Orange county in my district of NC 56 |
